The Dioceses of Las Cruces, El Paso, and Juarez will gather for a Mass at the Border on
November 2nd at 9 am.
On this day we recall in a special way the Souls of those who have lost their lives seeking refuge and hoping for a better future for them and their families. November 2nd for us as Catholics is
All Souls Day (click here for more information) in which the Church celebrates the Commemoration of the faithful departed.
November 2nd, 2019 will especially important for us here in this region -
this Mass at the Border will commemorate those who in transit to another country have lost their lives.
We suffer with them and for them, and on November 2nd we unite these sufferings at the foot of the Cross. We remember that we are
ALL pilgrims in this world - a body of people who are traveling on this earth looking forward to the moment when we can finally rest in the glory of the Kingdom with our Creator.
